Bunco for Breast Cancer

PLEASE NOTE: It is with sadness that Amador STARS has decided to cancel Bunco for Breast Cancer this year. Many factors played into this decision, including the Jackson Rancheria officially cancelling all concerts and special events for the remainder of 2020.

We will hold the cash raffle at the STARS office with donations received to date, and select and notify one winner. We also plan to conduct a small silent auction by email with some of the items donated for the event.

We are offering registered teams a few options. Team captains, please contact STARS by April 15 to let us know the option your team chooses. To make bookkeeping simpler, we are doing this by team, and not by individuals.

  • Option #1: Leave your team registrations as a donation to STARS this year.
  • Option #2: Leave your team registration in place and we roll it over to next year's event.
  • Option #3: We will refund a team's registration at the request of a team captain.

Please mark your calendars: March 26, 2021 for our Bunco for Breast Cancer Mardi Gras-Masquerade event! All registered teams will receive new info in the mail this Fall for Bunco for Breast Cancer 2021. Thanks for your unwavering support of Amador STARS. Be safe and above all be well!

Bunco is an easy and fun dice game that anyone can learn. The event raises funds to help local women on the breast cancer journey with free wigs, support groups, transportation and other services. This fun event features gourmet desserts, a cash raffle, costume contest, amazing auctions including a wine table, and of course plenty of Bunco play!

Our 15-year fundraising total for our bunco events is over $244,000. Hats off to the marvelous committee and volunteers who always make this evening so special! We would also like to thank our local merchants and individuals for their amazingly generous donations.

For more information or to be added to next year's event notification list, please contact Amador STARS at 267-1246.
